7441FM is Community Radio Station broadcasting in the West Coast District Municipal of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. 7441 mainly exist to establish a community radio station which will bridge the gaps of the people in the West Coast with programmes to empower, inform and educate through training and celebrating diversity which serves to enhance the quality of life by reconciling our people with the focus to integrate our society.

Radio 7441 FM shall at all times be guided by (guiding document) and in compliance with (names of accrediting authority and bodies), in the process becoming the listeners’ choice. Future Achievements: Increased Listener Base: Set specific targets for audience growth and develop innovative marketing campaigns to attract new listeners and retain existing ones. Improved Programming: Aim to receive positive feedback from audiences regarding the quality, relevance, and variety of programming. Enhanced Community Engagement
7441 FM audiences are not homogenous. They are varied, sophisticated, musical, religious, news and current affairs hungry, sports savvy and upwardly mobile. They spend an average of 30 minutes, one to two hours commuting between work and home or between 2 and 5 hours in long-distance travel between key locations. Their language of birth is highly critical to capture their attention. They tune-in at home, cars, retail establishments, work or via their mobile phones. One of the key attributes about community audience is loyalty to the medium of engagement due to affordability and accessibility.
The 7441 FM is currently has estimated to have +-75 000 listeners of its coverage as a growing station. We believe in building our listeners as we grow. This growth plan shall guide our radio station towards leveraging the 7441fm to achieve sustainable growth, expand our listener base, and become an influential force for positive change in our community. By implementing the outlined initiatives, we are confident that our station will thrive and continue to serve as a trusted source of information, entertainment, and community engagement.
